The Goon is taking over my writing

I just realized that Eric Powell’s writing is inspiring mine at the tail-end of this project. An excerpt:

“Blood is the nectar what keeps man afloat. Far be it that vampiric lust interrupt its flow ‘fore time can turn it to dust. That’s why we got the Goon. The Goon’s our phlebotomist, and those damn, dirty sack of #$%* vampires are the holes in our vein, pumpin’ out that nectar like a dairy farm on PCP. Drain ‘em Goon. Drain ‘em ‘fores they can drain us.”

Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s gonna be put into the final version of this educational board game.
