Best movie weekend ever. Up is genuinely the most impressive film that Pixar has put out to date. The best opening montage sequence since the Coen Brothers’ Raising Arizona. Drag Me to Hell, as nevermindthebolex said earlier, is Raimi’s modern horror masterpiece. Enough fan-service for Evil Dead fans, but not overbearing to newcomers. I didn’t think I’d be so satisfied with summer movies so quickly in the season. Thanks. Trailers here and here.
