When my family requests gift ideas via e-mail
Family: Hey, give us some gift ideas.
Peter: Hey everybody. I've gotten a few inquiries, so here's a list of things I wouldn't mind conning out of you this holiday/birthday season. (commence list)
Ben: Holy crap. Peter, you've turned into a hipster. No one buy him those skinny jeans. Don't buy him a keffiyeh either.
Peter: Don't worry, I knit my own keffiyeh's. But seriously, buy me those jeans. They make me look sophisticated.
Ben: I don't think anything could make you look sophisticated. The glasses don't do it. Tight jeans won't help either.
Claire: But the tight jeans with the hoodie and sneakers? The sneakers add the polished look of a sophisticated hipster!
Peter: Look, we can't all be stuffy lawyers and glorified babysitters that make the kind of yearly salary that affords them luxuries like contact lenses. Take your pant-suits and college-logo emblazoned sweaters to someone who cares. Now excuse me - I have to listen to this new vinyl record I bought. Who is it? Oh, it's pretty underground. I'm sure you've never heard of them. *sips imported coffee and reads a first edition hardcover of some Hemingway short story. You've probably never heard of it.*

I feel as though I’m having one of those weeks where all of the blogs and technology sites I read are digging up “new” concepts that I’ve either seen or read about over a year ago.
WatchMark Millar’s Kick-Ass. In theatres April 16. I think I’m gonna have to hop on the graphic novel bandwagon for this one before the movie comes out.
